WHO IT IS FOR

Follow the money behind every bond.

The bond has been issued. Now your team needs to explain the carrier balance, collect the customer invoice, and answer the producer’s commission question. EvenPenny brings those financial reviews together around the bond, so the next conversation starts with the transaction behind the number.

Keep the financial history with the bond

An issue, renewal, rider, cancellation, or credit can give the same bond reference a different financial story. Keep the term and transaction beside the number as you work through the carrier statement. A renewal charge, a later adjustment, and a payment recorded near month-end each need their own explanation.

The agency invoice explains the customer charge. The carrier statement gives the carrier’s account of the balance. Receipt and payment records show what moved, and producer reports show the commission activity for the period. EvenPenny helps your team bring those records into the same review.

EvenPenny shows the statement line and AMS360 entry side by side, with a suggested reason for the exception: rate difference, prior payment, missing in AMS, or carrier error. Your reviewer can start with the two records that disagree and a specific question to resolve.

From the statement to a verified remittance

  1. EvenPenny reads the uploaded PDF, Excel, or CSV statement, using OCR for scanned PDFs. You see the parsed statement lines.
  2. EvenPenny matches each line to AMS360 transactions on the same bond, allowing for prefix, suffix, and spelling differences in bond numbers and customer names. You see the corresponding records together.
  3. EvenPenny organizes the results into ready to remit, needs review, and already paid. You see totals that foot to the carrier’s own statement total.
  4. EvenPenny presents exceptions with both records and a suggested reason. You see the amount or reference that needs attention.
  5. EvenPenny generates the remittance from the verified list in the carrier’s format. You can copy it into your email.

Your agency resolves exceptions, approves the remittance, and sends the payment.

Carry the detail into the next conversation

Customer aging brings open balances into view. PDF customer statements give the customer the invoice and credit detail behind a request, and your team can initiate a past-due reminder from the collections workflow. A payment reference gives the reviewer a concrete starting point for locating a receipt.

Producer reports show the transactions for a selected date range. Use the bond reference to explain an adjustment and return to the relevant agreement when reviewing the amount. For the owner conversation, bring cash, verified carrier obligations, producer commissions payable, and upcoming expenses together to discuss what is left.

Start with one carrier and one statement period

Common questions

Where should a surety agency start?
Choose one carrier statement period with both straightforward matches and familiar exceptions. Bring the AMS360 exports used for your payable, receipt, and commission review.
How do we investigate an already paid item?
Use the prior payment record and statement cutoff to trace the item. The already-paid list keeps that history visible beside the current statement review.
Can producers review a particular reporting period?
Yes. Select a date range to see the producer’s reported commission transactions and the bond references behind the amounts.
